Alpine Esports Hosted on Simracing.GP

Season two of the Alpine Esports Series Powered by Binance is due to get underway this month, but this year we are excited to announce that the tournament will be hosted on Simracing.GP. This competition attracted some of the best Assetto Corsa Competizione players from around the world last season and it looks set to be the same again this year. As well as a grid full of pro-esports drivers there is an invitational class for influencers and guest drivers to take part.

We have built Simracing.GP from the ground up to offer all the tools and features required to run pro-esports competitions like the Alpine Esports Series Powered by Binance. The automation of all the servers, entry registration, race results and championship standings makes running esports events easier and more cost effective than ever. Put simply, if you know what makes a good race format you can have pro-level esports infrastructure ready to go in a matter of minutes.

The championship format required by the Apline esports organisers, RaceClutch is as follows:

  • 3 Event Championship on ACC spanning 3 months
  • Up to 35 drivers per-race with mixed class format
  • Each event consists of a sprint race & feature race
  • Sprint race and feature race have individual points structures
  • 30 Pro drivers per round (the same drivers each event)
  • 5 Guest drivers per round (different drivers each event)
  • Up to 10 reserve drivers per round

This is a fairly complex structure but we were able to create this format on Simracing.GP in less than 5 minutes. All servers ready to go and championship structure in place, ready in less time than it takes to lap the Nordschleife. If you don’t believe us, book a demo and come and try it for yourself.

We are of course delighted to be hosting the Alpine Esports Series Powered by Binance on Simracing.GP and we are equally proud to be working with RaceClutch, the organisers of the tournament. Robin Bondon from RaceClutch had this to say about the decision to use SGP as the platform for the competition.

"We are very pleased to collaborate with SimRacing.GP for the Alpine Esports Series Powered by Binance. SGP will definitely be useful to build a community for the championship phase, but also to make all the things easier for the organisation, and also for the drivers. As everything is brought together in a single tool. We hope to deliver the best user experience possible for this series."

Racing starts next week with the final taking place in late june. Keep these dates for your diary and catch the action live on the official Alpine Twitch & YouTube Channels.
