Key Features at Launch

Although limited in scope compared to the full game, the early access release introduces some exciting features:

  • Car customisation
  • Game economy, with car rentals, purchases, experience points, and rewards
  • Driver profile, licences, and the Driving Academy, which aims to provide structured challenges for players
  • Single-player modes, including practice and quick races
  • Full VR and triple screen support

Pricing and Online Racing

No official pricing has been announced yet, but with the game in its early stages, it’s expected to retail for around £30, similar to Le Mans Ultimate, which launched early access at £24.95.

One major omission at launch is online multiplayer, which is still under development. However, Simracing.GP is stepping in to fuel the competitive spirit by launching a hotlap competition tomorrow, featuring the iconic Ford Escort RS Cosworth at Imola.

What's Missing?

Fans of Assetto Corsa Evo’s ambitious open-world feature will need to wait, as this is not included in the early access build. Additionally, much curiosity surrounds the Driving Academy – will it challenge players as fiercely as the infamous Richard Burns Rally stages?

Simracing.GP’s Future with Assetto Corsa Evo

While multiplayer may be some way off, Simracing.GP is committed to integrating Assetto Corsa Evo into its platform as soon as online racing becomes available. The promise of AC Evo multiplayer signals a thrilling new chapter for organised online racing.

A Day to Celebrate

Today marks an exciting moment in the evolution of sim racing. With stunning cars, iconic tracks, and the promise of much more to come, Assetto Corsa Evo looks set to captivate drivers for years. Whether you’re sharpening your skills in practice mode or tackling hotlap challenges, there’s never been a better time to immerse yourself in the world of virtual motorsport.
