Assetto Corsa Evo: New Details About the Upcoming Early Access Release

Exciting updates have emerged today about the highly anticipated Assetto Corsa Evo. Scheduled to launch in Early Access on 16th January 2025, this initial build will be available exclusively on Steam for PC players.

Kunos Simulazioni has shared some key information about what players can expect from the early access experience, including content, features, and limitations.

Content Overview

The Early Access version will include:

  • 20 vehicles: While we don't yet have the full list, the following cars have been confirmed:some text
    • Toyota GR86
    • Ferrari 296 GTB
    • BMW M2 CS Racing
    • Abarth 695 by Posto
  • 5 tracks: Iconic circuits have been selected to give drivers a mix of legendary layouts, including:some text
    • Brands Hatch
    • Imola
    • Laguna Seca
    • Bathurst
    • Suzuka

Game Modes & Features

The Early Access build will offer limited gameplay modes:

  • Practice Mode and Quick Race: Perfect for testing out the cars and tracks.
  • Driving Academy: A brand-new feature aimed at teaching and improving driver skills. While details remain scarce, this could be a standout addition to the sim racing community.

Notably, there will not be multiplayer, free roam, or a full career mode at launch. This version is designed to give players a taste of what’s to come while Kunos continues to develop the game.

In-Game Economy & Player Progression

Another exciting element of Assetto Corsa Evo is the introduction of its in-game economy. Early Access will showcase the initial steps of this system, which includes:

  • Car rentals and purchases
  • Experience points (XP) and rank rewards
  • Driver profiles and licenses
