Simracing.GP Introduces Simplified Subscription Plans for Drivers and Communities

Simracing.GP: Simplifying the Path to Your Next Race
At Simracing.GP, our mission has always been to make sim racing accessible, exciting, and most importantly, easy. Since our subscription model launch in August 2023, we’ve been continuously listening to feedback from both drivers and community organisers.
Today, we are announcing a significant overhaul of our subscription plans under a new initiative we’re calling “Sim Racing. Simplified.”
The old model of subscriptions and a fuel system designed to allow drivers to contribute to community costs is being replaced. It was overly complex, and we recognise that confusion over the details led to some frustration. We’ve listened to our users and are taking decisive action.
From 9th October 2024, our new subscription structure will streamline the experience for both drivers and communities. Drivers will have straightforward “free” or “Supporter” option, while communities will have clear, affordable options to help them focus on what matters most: creating incredible racing experiences for their members.
We won’t just immediately implement the changes though as subscribers will need time to review what we are doing and communities will need time to adapt how they finance their racing activities. All current subscribers will receive 1-month totally free while changes are made.

Our new structure is designed to keep things simple, clear, and focused on delivering the best racing experience possible for everyone involved.
We believe that sim racing communities are the heart and soul of our platform. Our goal is to empower organisers with the tools and flexibility they need to create exciting and competitive racing environments. Whether you’re a small group of friends or a large-scale community, our revised plans make it easier than ever to host and manage your events.
Why Charge? We understand that some users may ask why we need to charge at all. Running and maintaining a platform of this scale comes with costs, and for us to continue growing and offering a premium experience for both drivers and communities, we need to ensure that the platform remains sustainable. Our pricing reflects our commitment to reinvesting in new features, server infrastructure, and most importantly, growing the sim racing ecosystem for everyone.
As we move into this new chapter, we’re excited about the opportunities these changes bring. We want to be transparent about the fact that things may not have been perfect in the past, but we’re dedicated to improving and delivering a platform that works for you. We’re here for both drivers looking to find their next race and for organisers striving to build a thriving community.
