Simracing.GP (SGP) is a platform that revolutionises the sim racing experience. SGP currently supports three sim racing games: Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC), Assetto Corsa (AC), Automobilista 2 (AMS2) and RaceRoom Racing Experience (R3E).
Each game has its own set of SGP driver licences, which measure your ability to race safely and competitively on the platform. These games offer various cars, tracks, formats, and rules for you to enjoy realistic and competitive racing online.
SGP is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest platform feature, Protest Control, aimed at streamlining post-race stewarding processes for drivers and racing communities.
This innovative system empowers drivers to report incidents directly from the results page of an event, streamlining the process and enhancing transparency. Reports are then reviewed by a panel of stewards appointed by the organising community.
Tomas Vaiciunas, Managing Director of SGP, emphasised the significance of this feature, stating, "Communities often rely on tools such as Google Forms and Discord channels, leading to manual work for admins and unclear processes for drivers. With Protest Control, we are following our goal of simplifying all aspects of online race organising and this is another step in this direction."
Protest Control offers flexibility, allowing racing communities to customise reporting windows, set limits on the number of reports allowed, and more. Additionally, community admins gain access to statistical insights, enabling informed decisions for safer events based on drivers' past penalties.
Effective immediately, Protest Control is available to all communities, free of charge, empowering drivers to utilise this feature in their upcoming events.
