Simracing.GP Partners with RacingStronger for Charity Event Supporting Andy's Man Club

Mark your calendars for an unforgettable sim racing experience! On Sunday, 8th December 2024, at 3 PM GMT, Simracing.GP (SGP) is teaming up with RacingStronger for a massive charity event in Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC). This year, we are shining a spotlight on the incredible mental health benefits of sim racing, raising vital funds for Andy’s Man Club, a charity focused on men's mental health support.

This spectacular event will be live-streamed, featuring live stewarding and the much-anticipated return of the infamous UN-SAFETY CAR. Teams of two will race for glory, and in the spirit of charity, we're asking for a £5 donation per team member. All proceeds will go directly to Andy’s Man Club via our PayPal Donation Page.

But this event is more than just racing—it’s a chance to get creative with donation penalties! Drivers and spectators will have the power to impose playful penalties on competitors, ensuring plenty of laughs along the way. Penalties include:

  • Enforced Driver Swap
  • Safety Car deployment
  • Drive-Through Penalties
  • Stop-Go Penalties

…and many more to be revealed! Full details on the penalties will be announced closer to the event, thanks to the devious minds behind RacingStronger!

Race Format:

  • Practice 1: 15 minutes
  • Practice 2 / Driver Briefing: 15 minutes
  • Qualifying: 25 minutes
  • Race Duration: 6 hours
  • Weather: Dry
  • Stint Timer: 45 minutes
  • Dry Tyres Available: 6 sets
  • Car Class: GT3 (BoP to be announced)

For those ready to test their skills and support a great cause, you can sign up via Simracing.GP at this event link.

Join us on this incredible day of sim racing, fun, and support for mental health! Whether you're racing or watching, you can help make a difference. See you on track!
