Terms and Conditions for the Assetto Corsa Evo Hotlap Challenge

Competition Overview

  1. The Assetto Corsa Evo Hotlap Challenge (the "Competition") is hosted by Simracing.GP ("SGP") and will run from 9:00 UTC on Friday, 17th January 2025, until 23:59 UTC on Friday, 31st January 2025.
  2. The challenge involves setting the fastest lap time using the Ford Escort Cosworth at Imola in Assetto Corsa Evo. Participants may use any weather or track settings.
  3. Prizes for the Competition are:
    • One SGP hoodie & One £25 Steam Gift Card (collectively referred to as the "Prize Bundle").
    • All participants will receive 'SGP Points' for participating, with information about SGP Points coming later in the year.

Eligibility

  1. The Competition is open to participants aged 18 or over with a valid Simracing.GP account.
  2. Employees of Simracing.GP, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected to the Competition are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter

  1. To participate, entrants must:
    • Log in to their Simracing.GP account.
    • Click on the "Hot Laps" section.
    • Submit their lap time and include a link to a video of their lap.
  2. Videos must show the entire lap from start to finish, with all in-game overlays and HUD elements visible.
  3. Video links can only be from YouTube and the video must not be set to 'Private'
  4. Every video should use the #SGP #SimracingGP hashtags in their description when uploaded to YouTube

Submission and Video Use

  1. By entering the Competition, participants agree to allow Simracing.GP to use footage from any videos submitted for promotional and marketing purposes.

Winner Selection and Verification

  1. All submissions will be reviewed, and lap times will be spot-checked for authenticity. Simracing.GP reserves the right to disqualify any lap that is deemed to be false or fails to meet the submission criteria.
  2. The winner will be the participant who submits the fastest verified lap time before the Competition closing date.

Prizes

  1. The Prize Bundle is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
  2. Winners will be notified by email within seven days of the Competition closing date. Prizes will be shipped to winners at no cost to them.

General Terms

  1. Simracing.GP reserves the right to amend or cancel the Competition or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  2. Simracing.GP is not responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to connectivity problems or video upload errors, that may affect an entrant's ability to participate.
  3. By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of Simracing.GP, which are final and binding.

Data Protection

  1. Any personal information provided during the Competition will only be used for the purposes of administering the Competition and issuing prizes, in accordance with Simracing.GP's Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

  1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
