Giveaway Terms

  1. These terms and conditions apply to the September 2023 Insomnia Gaming Festival ticket giveaway on X (AKA Twitter). The giveaway and entry to the promotion is acceptance of these terms and conditions.  Therefore, please read these carefully.
  2. No purchase is necessary to enter the giveaway.
  3. The Giveaway is only available to residents of the United Kingdom, over the age of 18.
  4. Simracing.GP ltd (company number: 13433680) is running this giveaway and it is not associated with X (AKA Twitter).
  5. The Giveaway is not open to employees (or family members of employees) of Simracing.GP ltd, its group companies, or anyone else connected with the promotion.
  6. The Giveaway will run from 1st September 2023 to 3rd September 2023, with 1 winner selected from X (AKA Twitter.)
  7. To enter the promotion on X (AKA Twitter) you are required to; retweet the giveaway post from @SimracingGP X (AKA Twitter) account and comment on the post, tagging the person you would take with you if you won the tickets.
  8. Entries will close at 23.59 on September 3rd 2023 BST. Entries received after this will not be processed.
  9. Maximum one entry per entrant.
  10. The winners will be selected at random from all valid entrants received by the closing date.
  11. There shall be 1 winner.
  12. The winner must be able to make their way to and from the event venue. Travel and accommodation are not included. 
  13. Simracing.GP ltd accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with any prize.
  14. Winners are strictly prohibited from selling their prize to any other person.
  15. The Winner will receive the below prize.
  16. The prize is 2 tickets to Insomnia Gaming Festival at the NEC Birmingham. Tickets grant entry for 1 day only. The winner can choose from 8th, 9th or 10th of September 2023. For further event info, such as times, please visit the event website www.insomniagamingfestival.com
  17. The Prize is subject to availability. 
  18. All prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or other prizes (in whole or in part). In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside Simracing.GP ltd’s control, Simracing.GP ltd reserves the right to offer an alternative prize.
  19. The winner will be announced at 3pm on Monday 4th September 2023 on Simracing.GP Twitter account.
  20. The winner will be contacted directly by our social media team who will request contact details to be sent via private message. Our team will tag them in the winner announcement post on Twitter requesting contact. If the winner does not get in touch with Simracing.GP ltd within 48hours of the time of notification, then the prize will be forfeited and Simracing.GP ltd will be entitled to select another winner (and that winner will have to respond to the message sent to them by the promoter within 24 hours of that message being sent to them or else they will also forfeit their prize).
  21. Once a winner has been in touch and provided contact details Simracing.GP ltd will then contact the winner to arrange delivery. If the winner does not get back in touch within 48 hours, then a new winner will be selected.
  22. The winner will collect the tickets from the venue on the day of the event. Insomnia Gaming Festival at the NEC Birmingham.
  23. Simracing.GP ltd may ask the winner to provide proof of age and/or country of residence.
  24. The winner agrees to take part in post-promotion activity. Post promotion activity will be inclusive of our social media accounts, PR and website.
  25. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted.
  26. Simracing.GP ltd accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the competition, not being able to enter into the competition or accepting and/or using any prize. Simracing.GP ltd further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer or IT systems relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading of any materials in connection with the competition. 
  27. Simracing.GP ltd shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
  28. The decision of Simracing.GP ltd is final, and will not enter into correspondence relating to its decision.
  29. Simracing.GP ltd reserves the right to modify the promotion at any time without prior notice.  
  30. Full details of the prize and the name of the competition winner will be available on request for 12 weeks after the winner has been notified by sending sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to;  Simracing.GP ltd, Kemp House, 160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX UNITED KINGDOM The Winners agree to have their name disclosed for this purpose.
