How to Join an ACC Server When the Kunos Server Browser is Down

Tutorial: Joining a Race Server When the ACC Server Browser Is Offline

If the Kunos server browser is down in Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) and you see a red "disconnected" dot in the corner, here’s how to connect to your race server manually. This easy workaround will have you ready to race in just a few steps.

Step 1: Download the Server List

  1. Go to the Race Event
Find and navigate to the event you’re registered for on the ACC interface.
  2. Click the Download Button
Look for a download button next to your event. Clicking it will prompt a download of a file called server list.
  3. Save the Instructions
Copy the instructions shown for later reference, if provided.

Step 2: Place the Server List in the Correct Folder

  1. Locate the File
Go to your downloads folder where the server list file is saved.
  2. Copy the File
Right-click the file and select "Copy."
  3. Paste in ACC’s Config Folder
Navigate to your ACC config folder:some text
    • Open Documents > Assetto Corsa Competizione > Config
    • Paste the server list file into this folder.

Step 3: Load ACC and Access LAN Servers

  1. Open ACC and Go to Multiplayer
Launch ACC and go to the Multiplayer section as usual, even if it says “disconnected” in the corner.
  2. Wait for the Server List to Load
Click on Server List and wait patiently. You’ll get an error message when it fails to load, which is expected.
  3. Select LAN Servers
After the error appears, click on LAN Servers. Your race server should now appear.

Step 4: Join the Server

  1. Select Your Server
Click on your server from the LAN list.
  2. Enter the Password
Type in the password if required, and join as usual.

That’s it! You’ve successfully joined your ACC race server despite the Kunos server browser issue. Happy racing!
